Description
A beautiful Great Blue Heron showing off its breeding colors and plumage. Spotted recently while on a photography hike at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Florida. The reserve is an area of protected lands in Polk County, Florida. Comprising 1,267 acres,, it is managed by the Polk County Board of County Commissioners, which co-owns it with the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
