Description
We ventured out onto one of the eastern levees early one cold morning and saw this bald eagle perched in basically the only tree of any size on that part of the levee and approached it slowly to try and capture some images. The bird seemed to have just completed a morning hunt and was in the process of cleaning himself up. As a result he ignored us and allowed us to take as many photos as we wanted!
