Eagle Couple Engaged in Conversation by Robyn Cowlan

Description

I was delighted when I was able to capture this not often seen together in this way pair of Bald Eagles sitting side by side on a branch of a very tall pine. They were positioned perfectly so there was no clutter in the background and seemed engaged in conversation, perhaps over the nest location or simply having one of those couple moments. Florida has one of the densest concentrations of nesting bald eagles in the lower 48 states, with an estimated 1,500 nesting pairs.
