2021 FWF Photo Contest

Description

Someone told me that a local pond was frequented by Roseate Spoonbills almost every day just before sundown. One afternoon I headed over there at 4pm hoping it was true. It was! What a thrill to see the Roseates and White Ibis enjoying a cool drink as the sun set. In addition, Little Green Heron, Glossy Ibis and other bird species showed up too. What a spectacular photo op for my Canon EOS 60D and 18-135 lens! No flash or tripod was used. Camera settings: F-Stop – f/10, Exposure Time – 1/400 sec., ISO-100, Exposure Bias -1.3 step, Focal Length – 92mm, Max Aperture 5.
