Description

Eastern Lubber Grasshopper a native to the southeastern region of the United States. Due to its size, it cannot fly but walks slowly up and over local plants and foliage. Despite their beautiful colors, they are toxic to touch. These happy friends were abundant just before sunset in Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge.
