Description
Stumbled on this monster hogfish eating along the moat wall at Fort Jefferson Dry Tortugas. Biggest one we’ve ever seen. They’re like underwater puppies with their beautiful eyes that follow you everywhere, sweet and innocent looking. They also have odd “sling jaws” that expand out to be quite large. We’d never seen one eat before and his mouth was huge!
