Description
Living on a canal that still has undisturbed land gives me endless opportunities to photograph wildlife. This past summer, a pair of Little Green Herons spent plenty of time here trying to catch fish. I spotted this one, perched on a mangrove branch patiently waiting for the right fish to come along. Taken with my Canon EOS 90D and a Sigma 600mm zoom lens. Settings: f/6.3, 1/1000 sec., ISO-5000, 0 step, 562mm, max aperture 5.25, no flash, no tripod.
