Overview:
The Florida Wildlife Federation invites you to an inspiring livestream to explore the powerful intersection of art and conservation. Tune in as a talented panel of creatives share their perspectives on how their work is driving awareness and action for Florida’s wildlife, water, and wild spaces.
Our panel will feature Grant Livingston, a South Florida musician known as “Miami’s Historian-in-Song,” whose storytelling celebrates Florida’s unique history and environment. Joining him is Oona Watkins, an illustrator and designer blending art and science to highlight critical environmental issues like water quality, marine conservation, and climate change. Rounding out the panel is Anthony Sleiman, a conservation photographer whose stunning images of the Everglades and night skies capture the beauty and urgency of protecting our natural world.
During the livestream, our panelists will delve into the creative processes behind their work, share stories of inspiration, and discuss how art can be a powerful tool for conservation. This engaging conversation will leave you inspired to see Florida’s natural treasures in a new light and to take action to protect them.
