First place Winner 2019

I am smitten with the beauty of the Florida panther. This one makes a home at Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park. These cats are under terrible threat due to intense pressure from habitat loss and vehicular collision.

Meet Louis P. Kellenberger, Jr.

The Lou Kellenberger FWF Photo Contest is named in memory of past board member and friend Louis P. Kellenberger, Jr., who passed away on June 28, 2016. Lou had served on the FWF Board of Directors.

Lou’s great passion was digital photography and he could often be found in the field at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, Maclay Gardens State Park or Wakulla Springs State Park. He assisted FWF with its Photo Contest with Lou and wife Betsy serving as judges. They also donated their talents as photographers for the FWF Awards Banquets.

Each year some amazing photos are entered into the contest. In our gallery, you will be able to explore the breathtaking beauty of Florida, its stunning habitats and abundant wildlife.
