Bears Across Collier is a silent art auction, hosted by Palmetto Ridge Highschool (PRHS) and benefitting the Florida Wildlife Federation (FWF). The PRHS Construction Academy students built wooden bear statues for 22 local artists to adopt and uniquely design.

The artwork for the auction will be on display at the Norris Center in downtown Naples from March 21-April 16th. Beginning on March 21, Southwest Florida residents are welcome to visit this display at the Norris Center and place bids online for a chance to take home a one-of-a-kind piece of art while also supporting the Florida Wildlife Federation.

FWF is honored to be a part of this collaboration as it brings both art and conservation together and teaches students the importance of giving back to the community. The auction benefits the Florida Wildlife Federation’s Southwest Office.

This fundraiser would not be possible without the exceptional talents of the participating artists. In recognition of their time and creativity, Bears Across Collier will culminate with an event on April 16 celebrating their effort and dedication. That morning, bears will be transferred from the Norris Center to the Cambier Park Bandshell for the Celebration of the Artists from 11:30 – 2:30. The event will feature displays from several participating artists, entertainment from Palmetto Ridge High School’s music students, and light refreshments from the Culinary Program. The auction will close at 1:30 p.m., and the winning bidders will be announced shortly thereafter.
